Listing content: sale or event details you submit — title, description, address, dates, tags, and any photos you upload;
Communications: anything you send us directly, e.g. by email.

Usage & device data: IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected through standard server logging;
Local storage: your session token is kept in your browser's local storage to keep you signed in — it is not a third-party tracking cookie.

2.3 Information from third-party sources

Some sale and event listings on the Service are gathered from publicly available third-party sale-listing sites. We only collect the listing details themselves (location, dates, description, an image) — we do not seek out or store personal contact information about the individuals running those third-party-sourced sales beyond what already appears in the public listing.

To operate the Service, including creating your account and displaying your listings;
To communicate with you, including account verification and service-related notices;
To maintain the security and integrity of the Service, including detecting abuse;
To improve the Service over time.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as follows:

Publicly, as intended: a published listing's details (location, dates, description, photos) are visible to anyone using the Service — that is the point of the Service;
Service providers: infrastructure we rely on to operate the Service, including cloud image storage, email delivery, and map/geocoding services, each of which processes only what is necessary to provide that function;
Legal reasons: if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Rummage City, our users, or the public.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and listing information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, security, and record-keeping purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data as described in Section 7.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices & Rights

You can review and update your account information at any time while signed in. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, contact us at legal@rummagecity.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; we will respond to verifiable requests consistent with applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
